SPECIAL INFORMATION

This home was designed and engineered using the most current building science techniques to achieve an ultra high-performance house that doesn't compromise its architecture. It has a very well-insulated air-tight envelope and high performance windows, a 7.2 KW PV array for electrical needs, a 140 tube array of solar thermal evacuated tubes for space heating and domestic hot water, and is oriented and designed for maximum passive solar. Cooling is achieved using an innovative closed-loop earthtube.
