SPECIAL INFORMATION

The Affordable-Energy Efficient Prototype Home, built by Skyline Homes in conjunction with the Nebraska Energy Office, is a ranch style home with a full deep basement. The main level is 1248 sq. ft that consists of an entry area, living room, dining room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, and 2 full baths. The full basement is insulated and conditioned but not finished.

The house was constructed as a prototype for the Nebraska Energy Office, the U.S. Department of Energy - Building America Program, and the Nebraska Green Build Program. The home was built for training and educating contractors, framers, developers, mechanical installers/suppliers, and the general public in regards to energy efficient, green building.
