SPECIAL INFORMATION

The Cox Sustainable Home has a passive solar design supported by structural insulated panels (SIPs) with high insulation value and low air infiltration potential. Energy efficiency is carried forward with the use of a geothermal heating and cooling system and a low energy lighting plan. The home also boasts the use of a variety of sustainable materials that reduce waste, add durability, and reduce contaminants within the living space, ensuring a healthy home for the occupants.
